The "Heart of Sound" palm speaker is equipped with a 200W amplifier to distribute the sound across its two wooden sides, one bass-heavy and the other treble-heavy. The 12 strings, tuned chromatically in the 3rd and 4th octaves, give the sound a sympathetic reverb color.
